My husband is on his way home from a whirlwind three days in D.C., meeting with members of Congress and VIPs (various important politicos).
My kids seem to be kicking their colds.
I'm almost finished with a big, potentially lucrative work project.
My car still runs.
My German Shepherd has not slaughtered the pair of ducks who've taken up residence in our backyard pond.
Sandra Bullock's new baby is adorable.
Today was a good day.

Lots of good things to reflect on there. :)
You know Joannah, it's a new skill for me...really stretching to find things to be happy about. It feels good, but definitely not natural yet. I'm much more used to focusing on all the little details that "need" to be sweated. I'm hoping that, with practice, I can see the good stuff *first*.
